ABOUT ME
I love to see people develop and build connections with each other. I strive to encourage inclusivity so D/deaf and Hearing people can work together to achieve their goals.
I’ve worked as a visual language professional since 2004, but for me, effective interpreting is never just about language - it’s about representing the whole person with honesty and integrity.
I live in Birmingham with my wonderful wife and our grumpy old cat.
Dan is aware of social aspects of our students’s experience, through being sensitive of the classroom atmosphere, helping our (D/deaf) student to build links between him and other students.

…MY BROTHER AND HIS FAMILY, THREE OF WHOM ARE DEAF, VERY MUCH ENJOYED THE PERFORMANCE. THEY HAVE ASKED ME TO ENSURE THAT THEIR THANKS ARE PASSED ON TO THE BSL INTERPRETER.
